    Algeria v Cote d'Ivoire

    ...

Early this week, Algeria (2-4) edged out Cote d'Ivoire (1-5) 58-45 in the Group Phase. Now with the Seventh-Place at stake, this series looks more unpredictable than ever although the North Africans have more scoring options at their disposal.

    DR Congo v Rwanda

    ...

Rwanda (4-2) have shown a tremendous tenacity to secure a spot in the Fifth-Place by beating the Cote d'Ivoire on Saturday. With their original goal or reaching the Semi-Finals ended in the Quarter-Finals, the host will try to avoid further disappointment. However, this Congolese team (3-4) is dangerous, not only because of its quickness to attack the basket and contest most shots but also because they look for the best possible classification in their first appearance in the tournament.

    Mali v Tunisia

    ...

This Third-Place Game has a relevance of a final for either team because the winner will join Egypt and Angola at next summer's FIBA U19 World Championship to be held in the Egyptian capital of Cairo. Mali (5-1) reached the Semi-Finals undefeated in five games but were denied by reigning champions Egypt. The question now is, can they bounce back to save their campaign? Tunisia (4-3) present as a tough opponent to beat.

    Egypt v Angola

    ...

The Gold-Medal Game. Although Angola (7-0), the only undefeated in the tournament so far, have outscored Egypt 84-65 in Group B on Wednesday, they can never underestimate the heart of a champion. While Egypt (6-1) will look to defend their continental and host the 2017 FIBA U19 World Championship as the dominant force in Africa, the Angolans have never been in a privileged position of winning their first U18 title in almost three decades.
