    Tunisia finalise roster for FIBA Africa U18 Championship

    TUNIS (FIBA Africa U18 Championship 2016) - Tunisia's head coach Aoun Monaem has selected an experienced team for the FIBA Africa U18 Championship 2016, Tunisian Basketball Federation confirmed on Wednesday. 

    The African Championship will be held in the Rwandan capital of Kigali from 22-31 July, and 12 teams will be battling it out to secure the two places on offer for African teams for next year's FIBA U19 World Championship in Cairo, Egypt.

    Akram Ben Salah, Ahmed Torjeman, and Oussama Marnaoui - a trio that featured at last year's FIBA Africa U16 Championship in Bamako, Mali - are joined by Methnani Wassef and Adam Rassil, two members of the Tunisian team that competed at the 2015 FIBA 19 World Championship.  

    Runners-up at the  latest edition of the FIBA Africa U18 Championship, Tunisia, who rank third on the African continent, will enter the Kigali showdown as one of the frontrunners. 

    List of the national teams qualified for the 2016 FIBA Africa U18 Championship in Kigali, Rwanda: AlgeriaAngola, Benin, Cote d’IvoireDR CongoEgypt, Gabon, Mali, hosts Rwanda, Tunisia, Uganda, and Zimbabwe.
