This year's 12-team FIBA Africa's youth flagship event will run from 22-31 July in Kigali, Rwanda.

Head coach Mohamed Abidat has selected an athletic team with the average height of 1.92m.
The play-caller has also included three players, who helped the North Africans claim a Third-Place at last year's FIBA Africa U16 Championship in Bamako, Mali.
While 2.06m center Abderrahmane Hailouf is set to take care of the boards, Mostefa Braik - a 17-year-old shooting guard, who led Algeria in Bamako with a team-high 15 points - is one of the men that head coach Abidat looks to propelling the team's offense in Kigali.

Joining Braik are two revelations from the U16 team Islam Nizar Taleb and Mohamed Akram Sahbi - the former is currently looking to pursue his High-School career in the US.
So far eleven national teams have qualified for the 2016 Rwanda showdown.
One more team is expected to be awarded a wildcard to complete the 12-team event, which includes Algeria, Angola, Benin, Cote d’Ivoire, DR Congo, Egypt, Mali, hosts Rwanda, Tunisia,Uganda, and Zimbabwe.
