    USIU Flames announce roster in build up to FIBA Africa Champions Cup for Women 2016

    As the United States International University (USIU) Flames confirm the preliminary roster for the upcoming ACCW - scheduled to run from 25 November to 4 December in Maputo, Mozambique - a lot more is expected from the 30-year-old power forward.

    Although the Kenyans - who finished runners-up in the ACCW Zone 5 qualifier - they look at the Maputo showpiece as an opportunity of improving from the last year, in which they ranked 10th in the 12-team tournament.

    “This year with the presence of veteran post player Angela Okoth and the support she will give Sarah Chan in the front court we expect to crack the Quarter-Finals hurdle," said recently to FIBA.com, Abel Nson, the team's head coach.
