City Oilers(Uganda) v Recreativo Libolo (Angola)
Even if City Oilers' Kami Kabangu and his teammates have shown some determination to reach the Quarter-Finals, this is going to be a tough one for the Ugandans, They must make some readjustments to beat Libolo, including avoiding missing easy basket, and be more efficient on the free throw line.
Obviously, if the likes of Jekel Foster and Olympio Cipriano play at their normal level, Libolo will surely emerge as victorious and avoid the surprise of finishing at the bottom of their Group B.
Players to watch: Kami Kabangu (City Oilers) and Jekel Foster (Libolo)
BEAC Basketball (Cameroon) v GS Petroliers (Algeria)
Players to watch: Pierre Essome (BEAC) and Abdesslem Dekkiche (GSP)
Primeiro D'Agosto (Angola) v Club Africain de Tunis (Tunisia)
Three games on, and Primeiro D'Agosto - the most successful team in the history of the FIBA ACC- have punched only one win. In spite of having made it to the Final Round thanks to their 1-2 mark so far, The Angolans need to be more resilient for the remainder of the tournament and confirm that they have a place in the title conversation. And this is the right moment to show it as their day's opponent Club Africain seem to be one step above the two previous teams they have played against.
Players to watch: Braulio Morais (D'Agosto) and Kyle Vinales (Club Africain)
Kano Pillars (Nigeria) v Al Ahly Sporting Club (Egypt)
The last game of the day between Kano Pillars and hosts Al Ahly will decide who finishes top of Group A. The Egyptians are ruling the FIBA ACC with a 3-0 mark while the Nigerians made a big noise by beating the Angolan champions Primeiro D'Agosto to improve their record to 2-1.
Abubakar Usman and his teammates have secured their ticket for the Final Phase and that's what matters most at this moment.
Players to watch: Abubakar Usman(Kano Pillars) and Ibrahim Elgammal(Al Ahly)
