LJUBLJANA (Adriatic League) - KK Zagreb sprung the big surprise in the Adriatic League at the weekend with an 82-75 come-from-behind triumph at Union Olimpija.
Olimpija, fresh off their 82-75 win over Armani Jeans Milano in the Euroleague that kept the club joint top of Group D with five wins and two defeats, collapsed in the fourth quarter.
They were outscored 30-16 over the last 10 minutes by Zagreb, a team that is 0-3 in the EuroChallenge.
Luka Zoric, who represented Croatia at the FIBA World Championship this summer, had 28 points and nine rebounds for Zagreb.
Both sides are among seven teams with 6-4 in the Adriatic League.
Krka, Buducnost, Cedevita, Hemofarm and Siroki also have six wins.
