Goran Jagodnik, the Slovenian national team forward at this summer's EuroBasket in Spain, had 21 points on eight of 17 (47%) shooting to lead the way.
Zadar, who ended a 32-year drought at Red Star in the Serbian capital last week, won at Croatian rivals Cibona 82-77.
Jure Lalic led a balanced Zadar scoring attack with 15 points.
Cibona dropped to sixth place with their sixth defeat in 14 games.
Adriatic League leaders Partizan (13-1) Belgrade bounced back from their Euroleague mauling at Barcelona by scraping an 86-84 win at Vojvodina Srbijagas, who fell to 6-8.
Milton Palacio, who was 13 of 16 (81%) at the free-throw line, led the winners with 23 points.
Union Olimpija (8-6) are now in fifth place after thumping fellow Slovenians Geoplin Slovan (4-10) 91-67.
Miha Zupan poured in a season-high 23 points against his former team.
Zoran Erceg, one of Serbia's national team players at the EuroBasket in Spain this summer, propelled FMP to a 73-70 triumph at Široki (2-12).
The power forward had a season-high 25 points, burying 10 of his 14 shots inside the arc, leaving FMP alone in seventh place with a 7-7 mark.
Anthony Akins had 17 points to top the scoring charts for Split (6-8) in their 73-66 win over Zagreb (4-10).
