KRAKOW (EuroLeague Women 2017) - Veteran center Ewelina Kobryn is making a return to Krakow where she will suit up for Wisla Can-Pack for the second time in her distinguished career.
The 35-year-old played in Spain last season at Perfumerias Avenida, having initially started the campaign with Fenerbahce and brings real know-how back to Wisla.
She previously played with distinction for the reigning Polish champions during five consecutive campaigns between 2008 to 2012.
Earlier in her career, she played at Lotos Gdynia and spent three seasons at UMMC Ekaterinburg where she was crowned a EuroLeague Women champion in 2013. Meanwhile she has also played in the WNBA with Seattle Storm and Phoenix Mercury.
"Ewelina Kobryn is one of the best players in Europe," enthused Wisla head coach Jose Hernandez after the club confirmed her capture.
"It is an excellent start to the roster for us, since she has a wealth of experience that is useful to us.
"Her presence back with Wisla will definitely strengthen our team," he added.
Kobryn's arrival coincides with a number of outgoings at Wisla after it was revealed Yvonne Turner was heading to another EuroLeague Women side in the shape of Uniqa Sopron, while Laura Nicholls had inked a deal with Passalacqua Ragusa in Italy.
