MUNICH (Germany) - Trazarien White erupted for 43 points on the opening night of the new FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season - setting a new scoring record in the competition.
The Zastal Zielona Gora guard led the way for the Polish side as they opened their campaign with an impressive 90-80 victory on the road in Hungary.
White became just the fourth player in the competition's history to score 40+ points in a single game, with a pair of free throws in the final seconds giving him the outright record over Trae Golden and David DeJulius.
The American was highly efficient from the field; shooting 13-for-20, while connecting on three triples. He was particularly effective from the free-throw line, going 14-for-15 to round off a standout shooting performance.
