ABU DHABI (FIBA 3x3 World Tour) - How competitive will be the 2016 FIBA 3x3 World Tour Final? Nineteen of the top 20 players in the World will meet in the UAE capital for the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Final.

ABU DHABI (FIBA 3x3 World Tour) - How competitive will be the 2016 FIBA 3x3 World Tour Final? Nineteen of the top 20 players in the World will meet in the UAE capital for the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Final. These 10 may not be sitting on top of the ranking but they're our 10 players to watch on the action starts on 27-28 October 2016.

    Dragan Bjelica (Belgrade, SRB)
    Nationality: Serbian
    Age: 31
    Height: 1.88 m
    World Rank: 79

His brother is a professional tennis player, his cousin Nemanja plays in the NBA and what he does is break ankles. That's why they call him 'Mr Crossover' on Belgrade's legendary 'Olimp' playground.

    ...

Dusan Domovic Bulut (Novi Sad Al Wahda, UAE)
    Nationality: Serbian
    Age: 31
    Height: 1.91 m
    World Rank: 1

Last year's MVP is having a ridiculous season with MVP honours in 3 World Tour Masters and the World Championships. Not even a bazooka could stop 'Mr Bullutproof' in 2016.

    ...

    Jonathan Garcia (Caguas, PUR)

    Nationality: Puerto Rican
    Age: 28
    Height: 1.80m
    World Rank: 116

The winner of the very first edition of the World Tour (in 2012) made a loud comeback at the Mexico City Masters this year with an MVP performance and a touching tribute to the late Andy Ortiz, his team-mate on the 2012 title run.

    Myke Henry (Chicago, USA)
    Nationality: US
    Age: 23
    Height: 1.98m
    World Rank: 61

The youngest player in the tournament showed the future is now at the Americas Masters. The former DePaul standout can get up and punch that Wilson ball down the rim. If you're like us, you're exicted to see how Henry will recover from his first-ever loss - after a 28-0 debut in the 3x3 professional game - in the final of the FIBA 3x3 World Championships, representing USA against Serbia (featuring Bulut and the other 3 players from Team Novi Sad Al Wahda).

    ...

    Jasmin Hercegovac (Ljubljana, SLO)
    Nationality: Slovenian
    Age: 39
    Height: 1.90 m
    World Rank: 5

The 'Iceman' hit some stone cold game-winners this season and put Ljubljana back on the map. Nobody else beat Novi Sad Al Wahda twice this year and the Slovenian sharpshooter is the main reason why.

    Mensud Julevic (Kranj, SLO)
    Nationality: Slovenian
    Age: 30
    Height: 2.00 m
    World Rank: 16

The man with the slick beard can do it all. He carried his Kranj team from 4th in 2013 to 3rd in 2014 and 2nd last year. Has to be his year, right?

Leandro Lima (São Paulo DC, BRA)
    Nationality: Brazilian
    Age: 32
    Height: 2.00 m
    World Rank: 34

The one-on-one specialist made his 3x3 debut this year and did not disappoint. Not only did he lead his Brazilian team to the final, he also had one of the exclamation points of the season at the Americas Masters.

    ...

    Michael Linklater (Saskatoon, CAN)
    Nationality: US
    Age: 34
    Height: 1.78 m
    World Rank: 12

Not sure if he learned that in the cold Canadian winters but Linklater has put a whole lot of people on skates this summer. The shortest player of the tournament has a mean first step and he is strong as a bull and he really really didn't appreciate finishing second at the World Tour Final in 2014.

    ...

    Gasper Ovnik (Piran, SLO)
    Nationality: Slovenian
    Age: 34
    Height: 1.90 m
    World Rank: 11

We knew Ovnik had one of the best footworks in the game and could pass it like no one else but he brought his game to a whole new level this summer at the European Championships, where he led Slovenia to gold and was named MVP.

    Amjyot Singh (Hamamatsu, JPN)
    Nationality: Indian
    Age: 24
    Height: 2.04 m
    World Rank: 216

The 'Sultan of Swat' made an impressive debut at the World Tour this season. More than just protecting the rim, he also scored in every position at the Utsunomiya Masters. Forget about the cricket jokes, Singh could single-handedly put India on the 3x3 map.
