PHILIPPINES (FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2018) - Sabrina Ionescu of the United States proved to be the fastest at the second leg of the FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2018.

The 20-year-old product of the University of Oregon clocked her Skills Contest completion at 27.03 seconds, which proved to be the fastest of the day.

Coming in second on Day 2 was Nigyar Nagiyeva of Turkmenistan, who finished the course in 27.33 seconds. Following her were Russia's Anna Leshkovtseva, Italy's Rae Lin D'Alie and Malaysia's Saw Wei Yin, each of whom clocked in at 30.00 seconds.

Unfortunately, Ionescu's time was still not enough to get her through to the final as the top four players from Day 1's Skills Contest each registered times faster than 27 seconds.

The Final will be composed of France's Marie-Eve Paget, Switzerland's Nancy Fora, Hungary's Alexandra Theodorean and Kazakhstan's Zalina Kurazova.

The Final will take place on Day 4, with the best player from the qualification against the 4th best, and the 2nd best against the 3rd best head-to-head. The winners figure in the battle for the gold medal, while the losers play in the bronze-medal round.
