THE TEAMS
Aaaand, breathe! 30 games later, Day 2 of the 3x3 U18 World Cup came to an end with Spain's women and Slovenia's men stealing the show in Kossuth Square.
The Spaniards showed no mercy and defeated both Romania and Poland before the limit and conceding just 20 points total (21-13 and 22-7 respectively). The speedy Alicia Florez led the team (and in fact all players) in scoring with 19 points overall, including an 11-point explosion against Romania.

In the men's side, we have to talk about Slovenia, who handled USA their first 3x3 U18 World Cup defeat in 13 games. In a really close game (16-15), another Slovenian Luka (Lampret, in this case) led the offense with 8 points. The Slovenians would then defeat last year's U18 World Cup runners-up Estonia 21-18 to finish their first day of action undefeated.
Also undefeated after 2 days of pool play: France, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, Ukraine, Serbia and Germany's men. And in the women's category, Germany, Netherlands, France, Japan, Brazil, Ukraine and USA.
THE PLAYER
German 3x3 prodigy Fabian Giessmann led Germany once again on the court with 16 points, including a highlight reel that would make you jump off your couch.
