Twenty-four teams from 17 countries to compete at FIBA 3x3 Europe U18 Cup Hungary 2018

DEBRECEN (FIBA 3x3 U18 Europe Cup 2018) - Twenty-four teams from 17 countries will compete at the FIBA 3x3 U18 Europe Cup 2018 in Debrecen, Hungary, on August 31 - September.2.

Twelve men's and 12 women's teams earned their ticket to the U18 Europe Cup following  3 qualifiers staged in Bari (Italy), Szolnok (Hungary) and Voiron (France). 

While women's reigning champs Hungary were automatically qualified as hosts, last year's men's champions Belgium won't have a chance to defend their crown. They were knocked out in the France Qualifier. The other big surprises were the elimination of last year's U18 World Cup and Europe Cup silver medalists Netherlands' men and the first-ever qualification of an Irish and Greek team to the competition.

All participating teams

Women: Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Spain, Russia and Ukraine.

Men: Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Ireland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Spain and Ukraine.

Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Italy, Russia, Spain and Ukraine will have both teams playing at the event.
