DEBRECEN (FIBA 3x3 U18 Europe Cup 2018) - Ukraine women's star Veronika Kosmach topped all scorers on Day 1 at the FIBA 3x3 U18 Europe Cup in Hungary on August 31.

    DEBRECEN (FIBA 3x3 U18 Europe Cup 2018) - Ukraine women's star Veronika Kosmach topped all scorers on Day 1 at the FIBA 3x3 U18 Europe Cup in Hungary on August 31.

    The 17-year-old was unstoppable on Day 1 with 18 points and guided Ukraine to the quarter-finals after finishing undefeated in pool play. Second in the women's charts was Caterina Mattera, from Italy, who had 14 but couldn't help Italy advance to the next round. Third was Latvia's Laura Okuneva, with 12. 

    In the men's category, Milos Antic, from Serbia,  and Nemanja Nadfeji, from Germany, were tied on top of the scoring charts with 17 points. Both led their teams to perfect records and will make their return on Sunday for the knock-out rounds.
