DEBRECEN (FIBA 3x3 U18 Europe Cup) - After two qualifiers staged in Hungary and Latvia this weekend, 24 teams from 15 countries have secured a spot to the third edition of the FIBA 3x3 U18 Europe Cup.

    DEBRECEN (FIBA 3x3 U18 Europe Cup) - After two qualifiers staged in Hungary and Latvia this weekend, 24 teams from 15 countries have secured a spot to the third edition of the FIBA 3x3 U18 Europe Cup in Debrecen, Hungary, on September 1-3. 

    Both French teams qualified (the women won the Hungary Qualifier while the men finished 3rd) meaning they will have a chance to defend their crown after their historic double last year in Debrecen.

    In contrast, the winners of the 2015 edition (and last year's bronze medalists) - Turkey's men - won't compete in Debrecen after falling in the pool phase of the Hungary Qualifier. 

    Nine nations have qualified both men and women's teams to the event: Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Ukraine.

    Italy (1st in Latvia), Spain (2nd in Latvia), Romania (3rd in Latvia), Belgium (4th in Latvia), Serbia (5th in Latvia), Ukraine (6th in Latvia), Estonia (1st in Hungary), Israel (2nd in Hungary), France (3rd in Hungary), Hungary (4th in Hungary and hosts), the Netherlands (5th in Hungary) & Czech Republic (6th in Hungary).

    Women: Spain (1st in Latvia), Latvia (2nd in Latvia), Ukraine (3rd in Latvia), Russia (4th in Latvia), the Netherlands (5th in Latvia), France (1st in Hungary), Czech Republic (2nd in Hungary), Poland (3rd in Hungary), Hungary (4th in Hungary and hosts), Belgium (5th in Hungary), Israel (6th in Hungary) & Italy (7th in Hungary)
