    CAIRO (Egypt) - Both Egyptian teams dominated the first day of the FIBA 3x3 U17 Africa Cup in Cairo.

    THE TEAMS

    Both Egyptian squads finished on top of their respective groups and proved why they are the favorites to win the competition. 

    In the men's category, they defeated Morocco, Algeria and Zambia, averaging 21 points per game and 3 of their players scored more than 15 points each in total.  In the women's side, they defeated Zambia 20-5 to finish on top of Pool A. 

    THE PLAYER

    Rami Younous  (Morocco) was a force on Day 1 and finished with 29 points in just 3 games to lead his team's offense.
