    CHANGSHA (FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup 2019) - Tom Wright (Australia) was named MVP of the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup in Changsha (China) on May 26. He was joined in the Team of the tournament by Mongolia's Delgernyam Davaasambuu and China's Yi Zheng.

    Tom Wright lived up to his family name and did everything right for Australia. The 30-year-old finished the event with 31 points to win his second FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup title. His experience on the court was key for back-to-back winners Australia. 

    He was joined by 2017 3x3 Asia Cup winner Delgernyam Davaasambuu, who guided Mongolia to the silver medal with 33 points overall, including 11 in the semi-final against Kazakhstan.

    The Team of the Tournament was completed by local hero Yi Zheng, who led hosts China to the bronze medal thanks to his 34 points. The 23-year-old finished 2nd in the scoring charts.
