VLADIVOSTOK (3x3 World Tour) – The second FIBA 3x3 World Tour stop takes place in the Russian city of Vladivostok this weekend.

Fifteen teams, predominantly from Asia and Oceania, will do battle at Quay Naberezhnaya in the centre of the city on Saturday 21 July.

The tournament will see the teams divided into three groups of five and the first round will be played in a round robin format.

The two best teams from each group and the two best third-placed teams will progress to the Quarter-Finals. There the tournament continues in a standard knock-out format.

The teams that reach the title game will qualify for the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Final to be played in Miami (22-23 September).

As well as the 3x3 tournament proper, there will plenty of spectacular action in side events that will include a Dunk Contest and a Shootout sponsored by Samsung.

The event in Vladivostok follows last weekend's first stop of the 3x3 World Tour in Sao Paulo, Brazil, won by Argentinian team Neuquen, who were the first team to qualify for the Final in Miami

After Vladivostok, the FIBA 3x3 World Tour will make stops in New York (18-19 August), Istanbul (1-2 September), Madrid (8-9 September) before culminating in the Miami.
