    3x3 set to debut at All-African Games

    RABAT (Morocco) -Basketball 3X3 continues to make striders across the, and Africa has no different.

    RABAT (Morocco) -Basketball 3x3 continues to make striders across the world, and Africa has no different.

    After being confirmed an Olympic discipline  for next year's Olympics in Tokyo, Basketball 3x3 will make its debut at the All-African Games in Rabat, Morocco from August 21-25

    According to official documents ten teams will do battle in the men's tournament while twelve teams make up the women's tourney.

    Men's teams include: Niger, Egypt, Madagascar, Nigeria, Angola, Morocco, Kenya, Mali, DR Congo and Equatorial Guinea.

    The women's competition consist of the following teams: Uganda, Niger, Mali, Egypt, DR Congo, Tunisia, Nigeria, Morocco, Kenya, Gambia, Ethiopia and Equatorial Guinea. 

    In the men's tournament, teams will be divided into two groups:

    Pool A: Niger, Nigeria, Angola, Mali, DR Congo
    Pool B : Egypt, Madagascar, Morocco, Kenya and Eq.Guinea.

    Meanwhile the women's tournament will consist of four groups:

    Pool A: Uganda, Morocco and Kenya;
    Pool B: Niger, Nigeria and Gambia;
    Pool C: Mali, Tunisia and Ethiopia;
    Pool D: Egypt, DR Congo and Eq.Guinea.
