ALCOBENDAS - France and Switzerland got the better of Spain and Lithuania respectively to reach the Final of the Mixed Tournament at the FIBA 3x3 U18 Championships, presented by Nike.

France saw off hosts Spain 16-10, while the Swiss outlasted Lithuania 20-18.

The European neighbours will square off in Sunday's Final on the Nike Court (Court 1) at 17:30 local time (GMT +2) for the right to be crowned champions of the first-ever FIBA 3x3 U18 Mixed Tournament.

"It was a great game. The girls played good both for our team and for Lithuania," Switzerland's Cyril Baechler said after his team's Semi-Final win.

"It was a physical game but we made our shots and we get to play France in the Final tomorrow.

"This is great for Switzerland. We're a small country. To reach the Final is amazing."

The win was bittersweet for the Swiss who lost a key player, Alexandra Koch, who got injured playing for the Girls team and was replaced by Maelle Chenaux.

"We want to win the Final for Switzerland but also for Alexandra who couldn't play with us," Baechler said.
