    Tunisia make mince meat of Togo in its group-D opening game Thursday at the Day-2 of the 26th edition of the FIBA Africa Championship for Men – Madagascar 2011 Afrobasket with a 103-56 points victory.

    The 2009 third place finisher showed its determination to be counted among Africa basketball power-house from the jump-ball winning in all four quarters by 28-11, 30-16, 25-13 and 20-16 to put paid to the ambition of the Togolese side of creating an upset.

    Tunisia Macram Ben Romdhave led his team with 20 points 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and one block-shot, Mourad El-Mabrouk added 12 points while Salah Mijri contributed 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 block.

    Togo shooting guard, Jimmy Williams led the floor with 25 points but the effort was not good enough to see his side go down by 47 points.
