    Both teams defeated Puerto Rico and Brazil, respectively, in the Semi-Finals and will meet in the Final Round on Sunday.

    LEON (Mexico) – Canada and USA will face off in the FIBA U18 AmeriCup 2026 Final on Sunday after eliminating Puerto Rico and Brazil, respectively. Both teams went undefeated through the Group Phase and left no room for surprises in the Semi-Finals. Meanwhile, Puerto Rico and Brazil will play for the bronze medal. This will be the fourth time in tournament history that Canada and USA meet in the FIBA U18 AmeriCup championship game. They previously faced each other in three consecutive editions (2014, 2016 and 2018), with the Americans coming out on top each time. USA will be seeking their eighth consecutive gold medal in the competition, while Canada will be chasing their first-ever title.
