ABIDJAN (Cote d'Ivoire) - After 18 group phase games, the 2026 FIBA U18 AfroBasket quarterfinals have been confirmed.
The Last Eight series is scheduled to take place on Thursday, August 13, with the semifinals on Saturday, August 15, and the title and third-place games on Sunday, August 16, at the Palais des Sports de Treichville in Côte d'Ivoire's largest city.
Of the eight quarterfinalists, Mali, Côte d'Ivoire, and Cameroon finished the group stage undefeated, winning all three games.
Meanwhile, both Tunisia and Egypt advanced to the elimination round with negative win-loss records of 1-2.
The quarterfinal series are as follows:
Mali vs. Tunisia; Côte d'Ivoire vs. Egypt; Cameroon vs. Chad; and Senegal vs. Madagascar.
Meanwhile, Gabon, Rwanda, Nigeria, and Morocco will compete for ninth to twelfth place.
Of the four teams fighting for ninth place, Gabon was the only one to register a win in the group stage, while Rwanda, Nigeria, and Morocco finished the first part of the competition without winning a single game.
