    Spain vs Czechia

The spotlight will be on rising star Iyana Martin who lit it up at the Women's World Cup

Time: Tuesday November 10 - 20:30 CET Venue: Palacio de los Deportes de Oviedo, Oviedo (ESP)

After making the podium at the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup, Spain will be red-hot favorites to not only get off to a winning start, but start their journey towards potential silverware in Vilnius next year.

They will lean on rising star Iyana Martin who's likely to steal the limelight, while Czechia will turn to Eliska Joklova for inspiration. They come off a tough World Cup when they had key players missing, but could still surprise.

    Serbia vs Greece

Time: Wednesday November 11 - 18:00 CET Venue: Ranko Zeravica Sports Hall, Belgrade (SRB)

Both nations will have their eyes on the prize - that being top spot in the group and they are capable of getting it. Serbia have made solid progress under Milos Pavlovic, with Masa Jankovic and Jovana Nogic both influential.

Greece will be eager not to repeat their truly roller-coaster First Round campaign. They decided to turn the page by appointing a new head coach in Stella Kaltsidou and she'll want a winning start to inject confidence into her team.

    Germany vs Hungary

Time: Wednesday November 11 - 19:00 CET Venue: Inselpark Arena, Hamburg (GER)

There will be a real buzz in Hamburg in the wake of the hosts playing there at FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2025 last year and after that epic and historic run to the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 Semi-Finals.

The trio of Frieda Buhner, Luisa Geiselsoder and Leonie Fiebich will be essential again. Especially if they need to slow down Dorka Juhasz and Reka Lelik, who propelled an impressive Hungary to the Quarter-Finals in Berlin.

    Italy vs Slovenia

All eyes will be Italy's standout baller Cecilia Zandalasini

Time: Wednesday November 11 - 20:00 CET Venue: PalaTerni, Terni (ITA)

Both teams met on Italian soil last year in the first phase of FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2025 so another intriguing matchup awaits. Italy have momentum after their bronze medal and a first World Cup appearance this century.

Cecilia Zandalasini will be ready to take center stage as usual, but she will have to play well against a potentially strong Slovenia backcourt. Both Teja Oblak and Zala Friskovec could post big challenges for the home defense.

    Great Britain vs Ukraine

Time: Saturday November 14 - 17:00 CET Venue: National Basketball Performance Centre, Manchester (ENG

With France runaway favorites and Luxembourg as underdogs, it looks like boiling down to a fight for second spot. That means two absolutely blockbuster matchups when any margin of victory will be so essential and priceless.

The Brits will be hoping they step out in Manchester and get onto the front foot with the likes of Holly Winterburn leading the way, while Ukraine will hope Alina Iagupova can roll back the years and come up with a classic display.

    Slovenia vs Latvia

Time: Saturday November 14 - 18:00 CET Venue: Kodeljevo Hall, Ljubljana (SLO)

There will be a strong sense of deja vu when both teams take to the floor, having already faced each other in the First Round. This witnessed a convincing pair of home wins, so will that trend continue when they re-engage?

Latvia have waved goodbye to their standout center and the now retired Anete Steinberga and that is a blow, so can Slovenia and their frontcourt duo of Eva Lisec and Jessica Shepard take full advantage under the basket?

    Greece vs Slovakia

Mariella Fasoula will be a towering presence for Greece

Time: Saturday November 14 - 18:00 CET Venue: Ivanofio, Thessaloniki (GRE)

With a tough first game in Serbia, this could either cement Greece taking control of the group, or be a real pressure and almost must-win matchup. The experience and production of Mariella Fasoula will likely be an important factor.

She could potentially go up against Athinaikos Qualco teammate Ivana Jakubcova. Meanwhile elsewhere on the floor, there will be a big onus on Eleanna Christinaki to make big shots from the wings and get Greece rolling.

    Poland vs Türkiye

Time: Tuesday November 17 - 17:00 CET Venue: Arena Gorzow, Gorzów Wielkopolski (POL)

Türkiye opted to make a coaching change heading into the Second Round as Frederic Dusart of Galatasaray Cagdas Faktoring picked up the baton from Andrea Mazzon. It certainly won't be easy to get a win on the road.

Kennedy Burke and Sevgi Uzun will need to be in top gear, with Poland likely looking to their frontcourt of Steph Mavunga and Kamila Borkowska to dominate inside. It could be a very physical and intense encounter in Gorzow.

    Czechia vs Bulgaria

Time: Tuesday November 17 - 17:15 CET Venue: Kralovka Arena, Prague (CZE)

If Spain are seemingly locks for pole position, the scramble for second place could be epic between these two and also Croatia. What happens in Prague will be fascinating, especially with Bulgaria again labeled as dark horses.

They won five of six games in the First Round so will be confident of success behind Khaalia Hillsman and the always scoring Borislava Hristova. Czechia will be hoping they can use home floor advantage in their favor and find their range from downtown.

    Latvia vs Italy

Kitija Laksa will lead Latvia and she plays her club basketball in Italy with Schio

Time: Tuesday November 17 - 18:00 CET Venue: Komandas Sporta Spelu Halle, Riga (LAT)

It's a game that could have the popcorn coming out for fans. Not least because Latvian sharp-shooter Kitija Laksa will face many of her Beretta Famila Schio teammates - including Italy's marquee baller, Cecilia Zandalasini.

This has all the ingredients of one of the most compelling and entertaining games of the November window. Italy will likely be favorites heading into the tip-off, but Latvia do love their homecourt so expect a potential shootout.
