    Rosemarie Julien named WBL Americas 2026 MVP

    The Bay Area Phoenix shooting guard was named MVP after leading the champions in scoring and efficiency throughout the WBL Americas 2026.

    SANTIAGO (Chile) – Rosemarie Julien was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Women’s Basketball League Americas 2026 after playing a key role in Bay Area Phoenix’s title run, as they defeated Sportiva Italiana in the Final to claim the title. The shooting guard finished the tournament averaging 15.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.2 steals per game, with an efficiency rating of 15.8. She led the Bay Area Phoenix in scoring and was the highest-rated player throughout the competition.

    Julien got better as the tournament progressed. She opened with a six-point performance, but steadily increased her production from there, scoring at least 15 points in each of her next four games. Her best offensive performance came in the Quarter-Finals, when she finished with 22 points. In the championship game, she once again took center stage offensively. She led the champions with 18 points, while also contributing 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals.
