    Gold Medal Game

    • FRA v USA - 21:30 Local Time (19:30 GMT)

The 2024 Olympics Gold Medal Game will be a repeat of the final from 2021 as France take on USA. After a subpar group stage, hosts France defeated medal contenders Canada in the Quarter-Finals and then knocked off world champions Germany in the Semi-Finals. France are playing in their fourth Gold Medal Game - losing all three previous attempts against USA in 1948, 2000 and 2021. This is just the third Olympics in which the hosts reached the final following USA in 1984 and 1996.

USA rolled to their fifth consecutive Gold Medal Game - and aiming for their fifth straight title - after beating Serbia in the Semi-Finals to remain undefeated in France. The Americans are guaranteed a medal in every one of their 20 appearances including 16 golds.

The Americans have won 10 of the 12 games against France but the Europeans have won two of the last three matchups - in FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Quarter-Finals and in the group stage of the 2021 Olympics.

    Bronze Medal Game

    • GER v SRB - 11:00 Local Time (09:00 GMT)

The 2024 Bronze Medal Game will be a repeat of the Final of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 between champions Germany and Serbia. Germany are looking for their first ever medal after losing to France in the Semi-Finals. Germany were already in uncharted waters by reaching the top four for the first time, and now Gordie Herbert’s team now is one victory from an Olympic medal after the FIBA World Cup crown. Serbia will look to bounce back and win their second medal in as many appearances in the Olympics following silver in 2106.

Germany hold a 4-2 advantage all-time over Serbia with the last three victories, including the 2023 FIBA World Cup Final. Serbia’s last win over the Germans came in the group stage of the FIBA EuroBasket 2015.
