    Games to Watch

There are plenty of games to enjoy during Gameday 1, but we've picked out four essential matchups that you need to make sure you have on your watchlist.

    Must-see TV 📺

Slovenia vs Latvia | November 12, 18:00 CET

Slovenia will host Latvia in what could be one of the games of the entire window. Even if the former are favorites on their own floor, they've lost the phenomenal Jessica Shepard to injury. That puts pressure on captain Teja Oblak, backcourt partner Zala Friskovec and center, Eva Lisec to shine. It also opens the door for a Latvia team with big talent and experience in Kitija Laksa, Anete Steinberga and several others capable of taking this one to the wire!

    X-Factor 🎮

Great Britain vs Switzerland | November 12, 20:00 CET

Great Britain and Switzerland come into these Qualifiers having not managed a win between them at FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2025. The Brits' new head coach Stella Kaltsidou will expect headline duo Temi Fagebenle and Holly Winterburn to be the game-winners. But Switzerland are capable of making life difficult, especially through their rising star Lin Schwarz. It will be fascinating to see who, or what will be the 'X-Factors' in this clash.

    Clash of Rivals ⚔️

Slovakia vs Poland | November 12, 18:00 CET

Slovakia and neighbors Poland will engage in an intriguing battle between two nations that only just missed out on the 2025 edition. The hosts will try to nullify Poland's standout player Steph Mavunga, who is a walking double-double in games if not shut down. That important defensive task could fall to Ivana Jakubcova - a EuroLeague Women player herself, who's an anchor for Slovakia. In a possibly tight group, this first game already feels huge.

    Hosts in Action 🏠

Sweden vs Lithuania | November 19:00 CET

While actual qualification is not on the line in the group which contains all four co-host nations, there's no denying that it will be a whole load of fiun watching this one. Not least because two in-form club teammates in Klara Holm of Sweden and Juste Jocyte of Lithuania will be a super matchup. The Spar Girona pair have been on fire and will now try to replicate it in their respective national team colors. The highlights reel is going to get filled.
