MUNICH (Germany) - A number of players took to the court in the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2027 Qualifiers First Round and lit it up on their first senior outings with their respective teams.

Nika Muhl - Croatia

Birth Date: April 9, 2001 Height: 5ft 10in / 1.77 m Club: Sopron Basket (HUN) Statistics: 21 EFF; 21 PTS; 7 AST; 2 REB
It was worth the wait to see Muhl finally making her senior debut in the competition. The guard was the difference-maker for Croatia during a priceles 76-73 success in Greece. As well as her tenacity and defense, the playmaker also came up with 21 points and 7 assists, before an ankle injury forced her to the bench in the closing moments.
Kamiah Smalls - Bosnia and Herzegovina

It was a box-office game when Bosnia and Herzegovina faced Israel and even if they were eventually outpaced 98-91, the naturalized Smalls showcased her quality and importance to her new team in this campaign. She almost got them overt the line with a fine double-double of 18 points and 12 boards - also adding 4 assists and 2 steals.
Abigail Meyers - Israel

Birth Date: July 14, 1994 Height: 6ft 0in / 1.83 m Club: Perfumerias Avenida (ESP) Statistics: 21 EFF; 21 PTS; 6 REB; 2 AST
One of the main reasons for Bosnia and Herzegovina being edged out was the sparkling debut of Meyers. The Perfumerias Avenida guard came up with a super cameo to suport the headline displays of Daniel Raber and Alyssa Barron. Her 21 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists proved to be pivotal in Israel getting off to a winning start.
Dionne Madjo - Luxembourg
FORWARD
Birth Date: August 28, 2007 Height: 6ft 0in / 1.83 m Club: Flammes Carolo Basket (FRA) Statistics: 15 EFF; 13 PTS; 10 REB; 3 AST
The teenager enjoyed a highly productive debut for Luxembourg by producing a double-double in a 69-53 success against Ireland. The frontcourt ace racked up 13 points and 10 rebounds, as well as handing out 3 assists, to show why she has also caught the eye as a prospect in EuroLeague Women with Flammes Carolo Basket.
Helene Haegerstrand - Sweden
SMALL FORWARD
Birth Date: January 22, 1999 Height: 6ft 0in / 1.83 m Club: Alvik Basket (SWE) Statistics: 15 EFF; 11 PTS; 100% FG; 3 REB
All good things come to those who wait and after being patient, the 26-year-old certainly made the most of her senior debut in the Qualifiers. She produced a fantastic perfect shooting night in the 85-67 loss to Lithuania, making all 4 of her shots en-route to reaching double-digits and claiming 11 points and long with 3 rebounds.
