PIRAEUS (Greece) - All eight European nations set to participate in the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 Qualifying Tournaments have been confirmed after Türkiye clinched the last spot.

With the five highest-ranked national teams at FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2025 qualifying for the global event, Belgium, France, Italy and Spain had already secured their berths by reaching the Semi-Finals.

They joined World Cup hosts Germany as well as Pre-Qualifying Tournaments winners, Czechia and Hungary, who had booked their Qualifying Tournament places in August 2024.

Türkiye claimed the last remaining ticket by topping Lithuania 99-87 in Sunday's Classification Game 7-8 and advancing as the next-best team at the event, with higher-placed Czechia and Germany already qualified.
