BERLIN (Germany) - The pairings and schedule for the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup 2026 Semi-Finals are now confirmed following the successful conclusion of the Quarter-Finals in Berlin, Germany.

The FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup 2026 Semi-Finals will take place on Saturday September 12.

France v Germany - 16:30 Local Time (14:30 GMT)
After easing past China in the Quarter-Finals, France have made the top four of the Women's World Cup for the first time since the maiden edition, way back in 1953. It was seventh time lucky after losing their previous six World Cup Quarter-Finals matchups. Now they are looking to write history by making the title game for the very first time.
Germany are also set to break more new ground. Having appeared in the Quarter-Finals for the first time, they will now sample the Women's World Cup Semi-Finals. Another huge crowd inside Berlin Arena will see if the hosts can make it five wins in a row and follow up their outstanding victory against European champions, Belgium.
The winner of this game will face the winner of USA v Spain in the Final.
USA v Spain - 20:00 Local Time (18:00 GMT)
After their record-breaking performance against Hungary in the Quarter-Finals, USA land in top four of the competition for the 13th time in a row. This will be an 11th straight Semi-Finals appearance, having never missed out since 1986 when they were introduced. USA are looking to secure a ticket to their fifth straight Final.
Spain are back in the Semi-Finals having played at this stage three editions in a row from 2010 to 2018. They faced USA at this stage of the competition in 2010 and are looking to make the Final for the second time, having finisher runner-up in 2014.
The winner of this game will face the winner of France v Germany in the Final.
