USA's Caitlin Clark is going to play at the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup for the first time in Berlin. Expect to see fans wearing her top-selling Indiana jersey.

BERLIN (Germany) - Caitlin Clark's popularity is as high as ever, with the USA star's Indiana Fever jersey sales proof.

Only Stephen Curry's Golden State Warriors jersey has sold better than Clark's No. 22 Fever shirt since 2024.

LA Lakers duo LeBron James (No. 23 jersey) and Luka Doncic (No. 77 jersey), rank third and fourth, respectively, in jersey sales followed by San Antonio's Victor Wembanyama (No. 1 jersey).

USA's Curry and James, and Slovenia's Doncic, have had legendary national team careers, while France's Wembanyama already has a 2024 Olympics All-Star Five spot in his one tournament with France.

It's almost certain that Clark and Wembanyama will be two of the most popular basketball players in the world for many years to come.

Clark won two U19 Women's Basketball World Cups with USA, and a U16 Women's AmeriCup.

Berlin represents her first opportunity to capture a first major title at senior level with the Americans, who will be going for a fifth consecutive world title.

Clark was terrific at the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup Qualifying Tournament in Puerto Rico in March, averaging 11.6 points and 6.4 assists per game.

She was named the MVP of the event.

She will take center stage at the World Cup in Berlin, where USA will play in Group D with Czechia, China and Italy.
