    BERLIN (Germany) - Gabby Williams collected the Best Defensive Player Award after another outstanding performance on the defensive end.

    She was already named the Best Defensive Player at Paris 2024, and once again in Germany, she led the way for France with her exceptional ball pressure. She was also her team's best in steals (2.8) and consistently took on the opposition's best offensive player.

    Gabby Williams is much more than a defensive player, but if you focus solely on this side of the court, she was simply outstanding.

    Her quickness and vision allow her to be in multiple places on the same possession, making her a constant presence on defense.
