MIAMI (United States) – The field for the FIBA Women's AmeriCup 2027 is now complete after wrapping up the regional Qualifiers in Central America, the Caribbean and South America.
The first teams to qualify for next year's continental tournament were Puerto Rico, Mexico and the Dominican Republic, which secured their berths by finishing in the top three at the Centrobasket Qualifiers, held in Nicaragua from July 12–18.
They were joined by Argentina, Venezuela, Brazil and Colombia, which punched their tickets by claiming the top four places at the South American Qualifiers, held in Zarate, Argentina, from August 3–9.
Canada and the United States qualified automatically as North America's representatives, while El Salvador secured their place as the host nation.
