What is the Game Predictor?
The Game Predictor is your chance to test your basketball knowledge and prediction skills! For each game in the competition, you'll guess the winning team and the margin of victory. Earn points for accurate predictions and climb the leaderboard to compete against fans from around the world.
How do I play?
It’s simple! For each game:
Pick the winner.
Predict the margin of victory for the winning team by selecting one of the ranges.
How does scoring work?
You earn points based on the accuracy of your predictions:
Correct Winner: 3 points
Perfect Prediction (Correct Winner + Correct Margin): 2 bonus points
Maximum per game: 5 points
Important: If you pick the wrong winner, you won’t earn points—even if your margin was correct.
Can I change my predictions?
Yes, but only before the game starts.
You can update your picks at any time before tip-off
Once the game begins, your predictions are locked
What if there’s a tie on the leaderboard?
If two or more players have the same number of points, the following tie-breakers apply:
Most Perfect Predictions – The user with the most exact matches of winner + margin wins.
Fewest Incorrect Predictions – The user with the fewest completely wrong predictions ranks higher.
Am I still able to play if I missed a few games?
Yes, of course! Even if you miss some games, you still have a chance to climb the leaderboard.
Is it free to play?
Yes! The Game Predictor is completely free to enter. Just log in, start predicting, and have fun.
Do I need an account to play?
Yes, you’ll need to create or log into your account to submit and track your predictions and appear on the leaderboard.
When do new games become available to predict?
Games will appear on the platform in advance of each round. Keep checking back so you don’t miss the prediction window!
