TULCEA (Romania) - A year after being relegated to Division B, Israel bounced straight back and emphatically toppled the hosts, Romania, in the Final.
In the Third-Place Game, Lithuania overcame Austria to secure promotion, along with the two Finalists, to Division A next summer.

Israel power past the hosts for Division B success
Israel led from start to finish as they convincingly beat Romania 85-66 in the Division B Final.
The Israelis raced away to lead 30-14 after the first quarter and never looked over their shoulder, as their lead ballooned to as many as 34 points, leaving the host nation in their wake.
The talented double act of Maayan Gorin and Maya Zilbershlag provided us with a thrilling final performance, as Gorin had 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals with Zilbershlag adding 21 points and 7 boards. Romania were led by 21 points from Daria Ilies.
Lithuania claim third place with win over Austria
Lithuania put together a strong first half and maintained their advantage to beat Austria 71-64 and finish in third. Their win also handed them the final promotion ticket to Division A next year.
After a strong start, Lithuania built on it to lead 39-29 at the half; Austria recovered and got it to within a point at 63-62 with three minutes to play, only for Lithuania to bounce back and execute well down the stretch.
Vakare Griskute led the victors with 16 points and 8 assists; Emilija Vaitkute added 15. For Austria, Sophia Kuranovic led all scorers with 21 points.
