    Rosters confirmed ahead of FIBA U18 Women's Asia Cup 2026 tip-off

    Lineups set

    SEREMBAN (Malaysia) - Lineups of the 8 teams competing in the FIBA U18 Women's Asia Cup 2026-Division A have been confirmed following the technical meeting's conclusion on Saturday, October 3.

    Now in its 27th edition, the event is set on October 4-10 and will be played at the Karisma Arena, starting with the Group Phase on October 4-6.

    The top teams from each group will advance directly to the Semi-Finals on October 9. Teams finishing at 2nd and 3rd in their respective groups, meanwhile, will play in the Qualification to Semi-Finals on October 8.

    The top 4 teams will also earn the honor of representing the continent in the FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup 2027, set to be played in Chengdu, China. China are already assured of a spot being the hosts.

    Group A: Who can stop the Gems?

    Group B: Traditional powerhouses collide

    Teams finishing 4th in their groups will face one another in the Classification 7-8 on October 8, just before the Qualification to Semi-Finals. Teams losing in the play-in will play in the Classification 5-6 on October 9.

    The Final, to be preceded by the Third-Place Game between the losing teams from the Semi-Finals, is on October 10 as the final day of competitions will be dedicated solely to podium games.
