    TRENTINO (Italy) - Four teams can still dream of hoisting the FIBA U18 EuroBasket 2026 after the completion of the Quarter-Finals on Thursday.

    The action was highlighted by an improbable comeback by holders Spain, while hosts Italy also moved into the Semi-Finals along with Slovenia and France.

    The four teams will also play at next year's FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup, with one more spot to be decided in the 5-8 Classification.

    Top Performers

    Slovenia remained alive in the hunt for their fourth podium finish as they knocked off Israel 95-87 in a thriller. Star guard Stefan Joksimovic starred for the winners as he poured in 28 points to go with 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 block.

    Germany suffered their first defeat of the competition in falling to France 76-61 in the Quarter-Finals. German big man Leonard Kroger picked up 19 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists, but they were not enough.

    Lithuania bounced back from their disappointing loss in the Round of 16 to ease past Austria 84-68 in Classification 9-16 and locked up their return to the top flight. Ignas Stombergas was a major problem for the Austrians with 21 points, 15 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 3 blocks.

    Slovenia had another major weapon in their 95-87 win over Israel and that was Maks Ciperle. The small forward collected 12 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and 1 block alongside Joksimovic.

    Serbia 89-62 Bulgaria

    Serbia dropped to Classification 9-16 with their Round of 16 loss to Türkiye, but they secured their spot in Division A next summer with an 89-62 win over Bulgaria. Djordje Gnjato led the way for Serbia with 23 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 2 blocks.
