RIJEKA & OPATIJA (Croatia) - Tayshawn Gipson was named Most Valuable Player of the FIBA U18 EuroBasket 2026, Division B after guiding Netherlands to their second crown.
Gipson contributed 11 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals in Netherlands' 71-57 win over Poland in the Final.
He also stood out in the other two knockout games; averaging 18.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 3.5 steals in the Quarter-Finals and Semi-Finals.
Gipson headlined the All-Star Five along with his teammate Jayden Anike, as well as Hubert Swirydowicz of runners-up Poland, Aaron Ona Embo of third-placed Belgium and Czechia's Marek Houska.
