TRENTINO (Italy) - The Quarter-Finals of the FIBA U18 EuroBasket 2026 are set as France needed another unlikely finish to win their Round of 16 encounter. They were joined in the top eight by four undefeated teams and hosts Italy.

Israel have not lost yet in Italy and they maintained their perfect record by beating Denmark 100-86 to reach the Quarter-Finals. One player who has showed up every time is David Musis, who has picked at least 21 points in each game. Against Denmark, the big man did it all with 23 points, 17 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks.
While Israel had a pretty comfortable Round of 16, Slovenia were given all they could handle by Denmark before winning 86-76. Stefan Joksimovic scored two baskets to spark an 11-2 close to the game, and the star wing finished with 30 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and 1 block.
Lithuania failed to reach the Quarter-Finals for the third time in the last four editions as they were beaten by hosts Italy 83-71 in the Round of 16. Ignas Stombergas did all he could in the loss with 21 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 3 blocks .
Greece reached the top eight for the first time since 2023 as they upset Serbia 78-77. Chrysostomos Chatzilamprou was big all game as the forward collected 21 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists.
Spain rolled into top eight with a comfortable 99-66 victory over Bulgaria to stay undefeated. Gerard Fernandez played a major role in the win as he scored 18 points to go with 3 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. The game was bittersweet for the guard as Fernandez had to be helped off the court with a right ankle injury in the closing minutes.
