Kosovo advanced to the Final after defeating hosts Albania

The two teams will battle for the title on Sunday.

SHKODRA (Albania) - Unbeaten Kosovo moved one step closer to the title, while Andorra stunned Group B winners Malta to complete a Final showdown at FIBA U18 EuroBasket 2026, Division C.

Kosovo advanced to the Final with an emphatic 83-51 victory over Albania, as Besim Bytyqi led the way with 21 points and 7 steals, while Lis Binishi contributed 13 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists.

A 9-0 run late in the opening quarter gave Kosovo an early double-digit advantage, and although Albania edged the second period by a single point, they never managed to cut the deficit below 10.

Kosovo regained full control after halftime before pulling away in the fourth quarter to complete the convincing win - shooting 64 percent from two-point range and dictating the tempo throughout the contest.

Later, Andorra joined Kosovo in the Final with a 82-66 victory over Malta. A dominant opening quarter proved decisive as Andorra built an early double-digit lead and maintained control for the remainder of the game.

Malta reduced the deficit to single digits midway through the fourth quarter, but Andorra answered immediately with a timely three-point play to restore a double-digit cushion and close out the victory.

Izan Fernandez starred with 21 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals , while Eric Canals added 13 points and 6 rebounds, and Gerard Lamelas contributed 11 points and 8 rebounds. Beau Samuel Kisvarda recorded a 15-point, 14-rebound double-double for Malta.

Earlier in the day, Armenia and Moldova booked their places in the 5th-Place Game after defeating San Marino and Gibraltar, respectively.

Armenia cruised to an 88-54 victory behind Artur Avagyan's 20 points and 10 rebounds and Anthony Sarkesian's 16 points, 18 rebounds and 5 assists.

Moldova, meanwhile, recovered from a mid-game deficit before defeating Gibraltar 99-67, led by Matei Cerlinca's 29 points and 6 steals, while Lucian Dontu added a 14-point, 13-rebound double-double.
