MIAMI (United States) – The FIBA Regional Office in the Americas has announced that the South American U17 Women’s Championship 2025 will take place at the UENO COP Arena in Asunción, from October 20 to 26. The competition will bring together the top U17 national teams from South America and will award three qualification spots for the FIBA U18 Women’s AmeriCup 2026. Brazil is the reigning champion from the last edition of the tournament, which was held in 2023 in Colombia. The Colombian squad and Argentina rounded out the podium with silver and bronze medals, respectively. FIBA
