ISTANBUL (Türkiye) - The stars came out and shined in the Quarter-Finals of the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup 2026 with each of the four winners being led by their superstar talents to reach the Semi-Finals.
Here are your top five performers from the Quarter-Finals:
Joaquim Boumtje Boumtje put together one of the greatest performances in FIBA U17 World Cup history in USA's 149-82 win over Puerto Rico. He collected 31 points, 16 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocks for an efficiency of 49, which was the fourth highest ever in the competition.
Serbia are represented twice in the Top Performers from their 101-78 win over Lithuania. Matija Lakic picked the perfect moment for his best performance as he tallied 27 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks for an efficiency of 34. Serbia star Nikola Kusturica was there as always with 30 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks in registering an efficiency of 30.
Türkiye and France gave the crowd a great Quarter-Finals matchup to close the night and the hosts prevailed 94-87. And a massive reason for that was Omer Kutluay, who had 30 points, 2 rebounds and 11 assists for an efficiency of 32.
The final member of the Top Performers is Luke Paul for his outstanding showing in Australia's 100-86 win over Canada. The point guard scored 21 points to go with 5 rebounds, 10 assists and 1 steal for an efficiency of 29.
