ORADEA (Romania) - Benjamin Berrouet made a major statement at the FIBA U16 EuroBasket 2026 by becoming just the third player to record at least 30 points and 20 rebounds in a game in the competition's history.
Berrouet poured in 33 points and grabbed 22 rebounds in Latvia's 95-80 victory over Czechia in the final day of group action in Romania.
The Latvian big man added 2 assists and 2 blocks in his third game of picking up at least 22 points and 12 rebounds.
The only other two players in the 30 and 20 club at the event are Spain's Ricky Rubio, and Serbia's Marko Pecarski.
Rubio tallied 51 points and 24 rebounds (as well as 12 assists) in the 2006 Final against Russia, while Pecarski totalled 30 points and 27 rebounds against Latvia in the 2016 edition.
