BEIJING (China) - The hunt is on for a trophy at a global stage, as six teams face off in two groups of the FIBA Intercontinental Cup in Beijing, China.
The games will be broadcast all over the world, with the fans tuning in to see who will become the new Intercontinental Cup winner, after Unicaja from Malaga, Spain had won the previous two editions, both held in Singapore.

In the first game of Day 3, the Chinese Basketball Association champions Shanghai Sharks are facing Rytas Vilnius, Basketball Champions League Europe winners from Lithuania. Tip-off time: 15:30 local time in China, 9:30 a.m. in Lithuania.
If Rytas win, they are 2-0 and group winners, while the RSSB Tigers would advance to the Semi-Finals at 1-1 as the second seed. Shanghai Sharks would be eliminated in such scenario.
If the Sharks win, they would create a three-way tie at 1-1. A Sharks win by 1-34 points would send Rytas and Shanghai through, and eliminate the Tigers; a Sharks win by 35+ points would send Shanghai and the Tigers through to the Semi-Finals, and eliminate Rytas.
In the second game of Day 3, the back-to-back Intercontinental Cup finalists NBA G League United are battling Boca Juniors for top spot of the group ahead of the Semi-Finals. Tip-off time: 19:30 local time in China, 7:30 a.m. EST in the United States, 8:30 a.m. in Argentina.
Both teams are already through to the Semi-Finals, while the Beijing Royal Fighters will play for fifth on Saturday, no matter what happens in this one.
