In a game with 24 lead changes, FIATC Girona overcame Dinamo Bucharest 87-75 in a physical Group B encounter.
Mac McClung led Girona with 16 points on his European competition debut, as the hosts broke a closely fought battle with a 22-12 fourth-quarter blitz.
SLUC Nancy Basket held on to edge BC Vienna 66-65 in a dramatic finish to an enthralling game.
RJ Gunn hit a triple to make it a one-point game with 37 seconds left, but they couldn't get a last-second shot off when the buzzer sounded after getting the stops they needed. Marcus Hammond led the victors with 19 points. Gunn had 15 for Vienna.
Meanwhile, Zastal Zielona Gora defeated NHSZ-Szolnoki Olajbanyasz 90-80 behind a record-breaking performance from Trazarien White, who broke the FIBA Europe Cup single-game scoring record with 43 points on a sublime 13-for-20 from the field.
Another victorious Polish side were Dziki Warszawa dominated from the start, toppling Tartu Uiikool Maks & Moorits 103-76 on the road.
Austin Luke paced the Polish side with 20 points, shooting 72 percent from the floor, with Makai Ashton adding 18. For Tartu, Rasmus Andre had a team-high 17 points.
A superb second half lifted Mykonos Betsson BC to a 78-58 triumph over Neftchi SC in Group H.
Dionisis Sidiroilias amassed 16 points and 6 rebounds as the Greek side fought back from a 40-34 half-time deficit to hold Neftchi to just four points in the third, outscoring their Azerbaijani counterparts 44-18 in the second half.
Yukatel Denizli Basket began their Group G campaign with a win, as they ousted BC Prievidza 83-69.
Marko Pecarski dominated under the basket, leading the winners with 15 points and 16 rebounds in an unstoppable showing. Christyon Eugene had a game-high 21 for Prievidza.
