FIBA Europe Cup draw results revealed for 2026-27 season

MUNICH (Germany) - The outlook for the 2026-27 FIBA Europe Cup season has been mapped out after the draws were conducted on Thursday.

The Regular Season will feature 48 clubs split across eight groups of six teams, with as many as 21 clubs joining from the Basketball Champions League Qualifiers.

Those teams have been provisionally placed, and will be replaced by 'lucky losers' - from the FIBA Europe Cup Qualifiers - should they advance to the Basketball Champions League Regular Season.

Former Estonian international Kristjan Kangur assisted with the draw, with FIBA Executive Director Europe Kamil Novak among the guests in attendance.

The groups for the Regular Season are as follows:

The pairings for the Qualifiers are as follows:

Pairing 1: BC Prievidza (SVK) vs KK Samobor (CRO)

Pairing 2: KB Peja (KOS) vs Dinamo Bucharest (ROU)

Pairing 3: BC Parnu (EST) vs Neftchi SC (AZE)

The FIBA Europe Cup Qualifiers will be played across two games in a home-and-away format, with the ties set to take place on September 23 and September 30, when the Regular Season field will be completed.

The Regular Season is scheduled to commence on October 7.
