The evergreen guard hits the 1000-point mark.

MUNICH (Germany) - CSM CSU Raiffeisen Oradea's Kris Richard now stands alone on top of the FIBA Europe Cup all-time scoring charts - surpassing Michel Diouf's total of 995.

Richard tied the record last week with 9 points in Oradea's 81-77 victory over previously unbeaten Pallacanestro Reggiana, before becoming the first player to reach 1000 points in the competition against Cedevita Junior

The Romanian has been at the club since 2018, and received an on-court celebration after the game to mark his achievement of becoming the joint leading scorer.

Richard averaged 16.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists this season, but the Romanian side were eliminated from Quarter-Finals contention in Group L.
