MUNICH (Germany) – CSM CSU Raiffeisen Oradea's Kris Richard moved into the top three of the FIBA Europe Cup all-time scoring charts on Wednesday night.
Needing just six points to pass Trae Golden into the podium position, Richard reached his target in the early stages of the third quarter with a three-pointer.
He finished with 26 points including the game-winner to secure an important 89-86 victory for Oradea on the road against Petrolina AEK.
Now in his fifth season with Oradea, the 36-year-old Richard is averaging 18.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.3 assists with the Romanian side, who remain in strong contention to advance with a 3-1 record.
