    The Second Round resumed play this week as the four groups are now taking shape.

    MUNICH (Germany) - The FIBA Europe Cup Second Round action resumed with eight key battles that have changed the landscape of the four groups.

    Aliaga Petkimspor, UCAM Murcia, Pallacanestro Reggiana and holders Surne Bilbao Basket remain unbeaten after the third round of games in the Second Round, with four teams picking up their first wins.

    Petkimspor show their dominance; Zaragoza defeat Sassari

    Aliaga Petkimspor brutally dismissed a strong Peristeri Betsson side 82-61 to move to 3-0 in Group N. After a great start, the hosts were pegged back by their Greek challengers in the second quarter but took control in the second half - outscoring Peristeri 42-25 en route to glory.

    Yannick Franke filled the statsheet with a superb 29 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 steals for Petkimspor. Jake Van Tubbergen had 14 points and 12 rebounds for Peristeri, who slumped to the first loss of the Second Round.

    Santi Yusta starred for Casademont Zaragoza as they got the better of Dinamo BDS Sassari 94-75. The Spanish veteran shot 9-for-10 from the field to post 23 points and 6 rebounds. Jacob Pullen led Sassari with 14.

    Bilbao overpower PAOK in Finals rematch; Prievidza best Sporting

    Surne Bilbao Basket took their first lead with 5:08 to go in the first quarter and never relinquished that advantage, coasting to a 95-73 win over PAOK BC in Tuesday's only game.

    Aleix Font led Bilbao with 24 points and 5 rebounds, shooting 8-for-9 from the floor, as the Spanish outfit improved to 3-0 in Group M. Tomas Dimsa led PAOK with 15 points as they handed a debut to former NBA guard Patrick Beverley, but suffered their first loss in the Second Round.

    BC Prievidza secured their first win of the Second Round as they defeated Sporting CP 94-82. A closely-contested battle was broken open in the final quarter as the Slovakian side outscored their Portuguese counterparts 33-17 to score the win.

    James Bishop hit six triples for a game-high 30 points for the winners. Brandon Johns had 21 for Sporting, who dropped to 0-3.

    Second half surge sees Murcia past Rostock; Szombathely get road win over Sopot

    UCAM Murcia caught fire in the second half, leading to an 85-77 win over the Rostock Seawolves, who were unable to put out the Spanish flame.

    Devontae Cacok was dominant under the basket, going 8-for-12 from two-point land, leading Murcia with 18 points and 5 boards, supported by Michael Forrest's 11. Lukasz Kolenda had 21 points to pace the Seawolves.

    KC Szombathely were deserved 86-79 victors over Trefl Sopot, earning their first win in Group K. Zoltan Perl was again outstanding, scoring 19 points on 7-for-12 shooting for the Hungarian side. Mindaugas Kacinas had 19 for Sopot.

    Reggiana overpower Bosna; Oradea pile more misery on Cedevita

    Pallacanestro Reggiana coasted to 3-0 in Group L thanks to a comfortable 93-67 win over KK Bosna, who dropped to their first loss of the Second Round.

    Reggiana never trailed as JT Thor led the winners with 21 points. Jaylen Barford chipped in with 15. Alphonso Plummber amassed 20 points for Bosna.

    CSM CSU Raiffeisen Oradea collected their first win in Group L with a resounding 103-79 win over Cedevita Junior, who remain without a win in the Second Round.

    The Romanian side led from tip to buzzer, as they shot an impressive 57 percent, with Nikola Kocovic leading the way with 20 points on 7-for-8 shooting. Niko Sare had 20 for Cedevita.
