Clubs announced for FIBA Europe Cup 2025-26 season

    The list of clubs participating in the FIBA Europe Cup was unveiled on Friday.

    MUNICH (Germany) - The lineup for the upcoming FIBA Europe Cup season has been announced, with 29 clubs regsitering for the 2025-26 campaign.

    Additionally, there are 19 clubs that have opted in from the Basketball Champions League Qualification Round Tournaments. Should any of those teams fail to qualify, they will enter directly to the FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season, which will once again consist of 40 clubs, split across 10 groups of four teams.

    The following teams have opted in: Windrose Giants Antwerp (BEL), Rilski Sportist (BUL), AEK Larnaca (CYP), Bakken Bears Aarhus (DEN), UCAM Murcia (ESP), BC Kalev/Cramo (EST), Elan Chalon (FRA), BC Kutaisi (GEO), Basketball Lowen Braunschweig (GER), PAOK mateco (GRE), Falco Szombathely (HUN), Pallacanestro Reggiana (ITA), Trepca (KOS), Pelister Bitola (MKD), Start Lublin (POL), FC Porto (POR), CSM Oradea (ROU), BK Patrioti Levice (SVK) and Bursaspor (TUR).

    Basketball Champions League Season 10 lineup announced

    There will be 13 clubs earning direct spots to the Regular Season, while 16 teams will compete across eight pairings in the Qualifiers in two-legged ties on September 24 and October 1.

    Additional spots in the FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season may open up, should any of the BCL clubs qualify to their Regular Season. These places would be determined by the best-ranked losing teams from the FIBA Europe Cup Qualifiers, in accordance to Section D of the Official Basketball Rules.

    The draws for both the Qualifiers and Regular Season will take place on Wednesday, July 23, in Munich, Germany.
